Senior Energy Consultant (C&I)

Woods & Co have partnered with one of Australia’s leading energy brokers to find a high-performing Senior Sales Consultant within the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) space. In this role, you’ll help businesses secure the most competitive energy solutions on the market, while delivering genuine cost savings and long-term value.
  
You’ll be joining a trusted brokerage known for its strong industry relationships, expert team, and forward-thinking approach. With access to a robust pipeline of leads, comprehensive support, and a flexible hybrid working model, you’ll be set up for success from day one.

What’s in it for you?
  • $80,000–$100,000 + super + Commission
  • Uncapped commissions OTE $140,000 - $150,000 
  • Monday to Friday role
  • South East location 
  • Hybrid work model – WFH Mondays and Fridays

What will you be doing?
  • Engage with commercial and industrial businesses through outbound B2B calls to assess energy usage and explore cost-saving opportunities
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of mid-to-large business clients across various industries
  • Developing customised energy proposals based on usage data, market trends, and client objectives
  • Liaise with energy retailers to negotiate competitive rates and contract terms that deliver maximum value
  • Advise clients on energy efficiency initiatives including solar solutions, LED lighting, and voltage optimisation to support sustainability goals
  • Capture and maintain communications and proposals within CRM system
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and activity based KPIs through a structured and strategic sales process
  
What do you need?
  • 3+ year’s sales experience, minimum 1-2 in Energy industry (C&I desirable)
  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle
  • B2B sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship building skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Proven experience in phone-based sales
