Design and Draftsperson.
This pivotal role will see you produce high-quality architectural drawings and documentation across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.
With a strong pipeline of exciting developments underway, this is the perfect opportunity for a motivated professional with a keen eye for detail, solid understanding of construction principles, and confidence working across multiple project phases.

Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain detailed architectural and structural drawings for childcare, residential and commercial developments
- Produce documentation for town planning, working drawings and marketing purposes
- Ensure documentation meets the National Construction Code (NCC), local council regulations and developer requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams and external consultants to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs
- Coordinate engineering and energy compliance documentation as required
- Maintain drafting standards, templates and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with identifying and resolving design and drafting errors early in the process
- Support project delivery by providing technical drafting updates and documentation as required throughout the construction phase
What you’ll need: - Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in drafting within the construction or architectural sector
- Strong proficiency in Archicad (essential)
- In-depth knowledge of Australian Building Codes (NCC) and town planning regulations
- Strong understanding of architectural and structural detailing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Previous experience working on childcare or commercial developments (highly regarded)
