Role Overview:As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the business. You will work closely with the executive team to provide strategic financial guidance, ensure robust financial management, and drive financial performance. This role requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.
- Manage the company’s accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee project costing, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor financial performance and project budgets.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
- Provide strategic insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
Qualifications and Experience: - CPA or CA qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance management role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, project costing, and financial management.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations and drive financial performance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High level of proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
