We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager. In this key role, you will report to the People & Culture Manager and be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing safety strategies, programs, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment all employees in the business.

What do you do:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive safety strategy and create a process that aligns with the organisation ,
- Create policies, procedures, and training tasks in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents to determine the main cause and apply corrective actions to prevent them from reoccurring
- Ensure the business is complying with all Occupational Health and Safety Acts, legislation, regulations and best practice, coupled with Industrial Relations Act, legislation and regulations in all Australian states.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities, and prepare reports for management as needed
- Lead the safety function and manage Return to Work/Work Health & Safety Coordinator
What do you need: - Extensive knowledge of OHS regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Worked in a similar role within a fast paced retail environment, working nationally
- Experience in dealing with WorkSafe and other governing bodies
- Having led a team (highly advantageous)
- Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety, or related discipline, Certification in Return to Work and First Aid Certified
- Car and license with the ability to do adhoc travel when required
