Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a decade old, tree-care business located in Clayton South. With strong Melbourne roots and a now very established business, who are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their expanding team

- Competitive salary range between $70,000 - $80,000 + Super (Pro rata)
They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.
What you do: - Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors.
- Handle GST and BAS preparation and lodgement.
- Manage petty cash and employee expense reimbursements.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
What you need: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software Xero and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
