The client is seeking a Security Operations Lead who can commence with confidence and actively supervise, direct and train employees. As one of Melbourne’s premier multi-purpose entertainment hubs, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Melbourne’s most exciting events.

What will you do?

• Delegation of duties to security staff
• Gate set-up and supervision of Team Leaders and Zone
• Manage and oversee staff, providing hands-on leadership to site staff ensuring all standards are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships through a program of visits and a well-developed communication strategy
• Ensure OH&S guidelines are followed and met
• Finance control
• Review and respond to weekly/monthly reports
• Identify new business opportunities
• Oversee site rosters 

What do you need?

• Critical thinking abilities to make informed decisions that align with the team’s mission and broader organisational goals
• Proven leadership experience, with a record of building strong and supportive teams
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service
• Fostering flexibility and adaptability across with evolving demands
• Presentable and well-spoken
• A strong commitment to the role, with a drive to excel
• Experience in the events or security industry is desirable but not necessary
• Valid driver's license
