Woods & Co have partnered with a privately owned property developer with over 23 years of success in delivering affordable, quality residential housing. With a strong pipeline of townhomes and land subdivision projects across Victoria and NSW, this business is on track to becoming one of Australia’s largest built-form housing providers.

With over 1,000 dwellings in the pipeline to be delivered over the next 36 months, the business is seeking a Senior Development Manager to join their close-knit, high-performing team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role and drive projects from acquisition through to completion, while contributing to the broader growth of the company.

What do you do?

• Manage end-to-end delivery of residential land and townhouse developments
• Coordinate consultants, authorities, and JV partners
• Conduct feasibility studies and cashflow analysis using Estate Master (DF & DM)
• Monitor and manage project timelines, costs, and risks
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders including PCG reports
• Work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and construction
• Tender and appoint civil and building contractors
• Drive planning, approvals, construction, and settlement phases
• Provide strategic input on new project acquisitions
• Report to General Manager and Directors

What do you need?

• Minimum 5 + years' experience as a Development Manager, preferably in residential
• Proven track record delivering townhouse or land subdivision projects
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of planning systems, building approvals, and contractor management
• Proficiency in Estate Master or similar tools
• High attention to detail, commercial acumen, and a proactive mindset
