They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing strategic financial guidance, overseeing financial operations, and driving business performance. - Lead the financial guidance and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategic initiatives and business plans.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of driving results and managing projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail.
