Technical Product Manager for their Australian subsidiary.

What do you do? - Create and optimise hydraulic systems and components tailored to customer needs, using engineering principles, simulation tools, and CAD software.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and support for hydraulic systems, including on-site assistance when necessary.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently from design through delivery.
- Act as the primary technical liaison, addressing customer queries, conducting product presentations, and providing after-sales support and training.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, perform system analysis, and document customer feedback and field issues for continuous improvement.
What do you need? - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years in hydraulic system design and application, with a focus on fluid power systems. Experience with electronic controls, sensors, and safety systems is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic components and fluid power principles
- Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk, Hydraw) and hydraulic simulation tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting abilities, and root-cause analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for hydraulic systems
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Professional certifications in Fluid Power, knowledge of safety systems, and compliance standards is desirable but not essential
