Woods & Co Recruitment is working with a well-established, property development group that has delivered high-quality builds for over two decades. Known for their comprehensive service offering—spanning land acquisition, design, construction, capital funding, sales and project management—they continue to expand.

They’re now on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Manager and broader Finance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and driven accounting professional looking to grow their career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What do you do?

• Accounts Payable and Receivable processing across group entities
• General ledger and bank reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of payment runs
• Assist with month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support management and financial reporting
• Assist with BAS preparation

What do you need?

• A degree in Accounting or related field
• 1+ year of experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role
• Hands-on experience with Xero and QuickBooks
• Property industry experience is advantageous but not essential
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude
• Ambitious, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment
