Woods & Co Recruitment are on the hunt for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a leading import business based in Oakleigh. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves taking ownership of the finance function in a tight-knit, supportive team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience across accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and BAS preparation. This is a standalone finance role with great variety, flexibility, and stability in a well-established business.
What’s in it for you? - $75,000–$85,000 + Super (depending on experience)

What do you do? - Manage all bookkeeping tasks using MYOB
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Bank, credit card and account reconciliations
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and superannuation
- Run weekly and monthly payroll
- Liaise with external accountants and suppliers
- General office support and admin as required
What do you need? - 3+ years' bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in MYOB (or similar accounting software)
- A solid understanding of Australian tax compliance and payroll
- High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a small business or trade-related environment is a bonus
