Woods & Co has partnered with a leading Australian payments technology company revolutionising transaction and cash management solutions across Australia and New Zealand. With rapid growth and a reputation for innovation, they’re seeking a Head of Technology to lead their software, IT, infrastructure, and information security teams.

This role is ideal for a seasoned technology leader who thrives on driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and integrating AI-driven efficiencies into commercial operations. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to shape and deliver the company’s technology vision.

What do you do?

• Lead and oversee software development, IT, infrastructure, and information security functions
• Deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives
• Drive adoption of AI and business automation initiatives
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Oversee onboarding processes for internal teams and external clients
• Maintain compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and security standards
• Manage system performance, budgets, and vendor relationships
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple teams
• Lead root cause analysis and escalation for critical incidents

What do you need?

• Proven leadership across multiple technology domains
• Strong background in software development management and delivery
• Experience implementing AI and business automation initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to operate with agility and deliver under tight deadlines
• Melbourne-based or willing to relocate
