We are working with a highly regarded Melbourne-based developer with a strong pipeline of industrial and logistics projects. As they continue to grow, they are now looking for an Assistant Development Manager to join the team and support the front-end delivery of large-format industrial estates, warehouses, and last-mile logistics facilities.
This role will suit someone with experience or a keen interest in the industrial sector — particularly in tenant-driven design, authority coordination, and infrastructure planning.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the end-to-end delivery of industrial development projects across Victoria.
- Support feasibility assessments, site acquisition analysis, and project due diligence.
- Liaise with authorities, service providers, and consultants to progress design and approvals.
- Coordinate project documentation, consultant briefs, and delivery timelines.
- Participate in design reviews with a focus on site layout, access, services, and tenant requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support infrastructure planning, including roads, drainage, utilities, and service connections.
- Attend site inspections to monitor progress, program, and compliance.
Skills & Qualifications: - Tertiary qualification in Property, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working in or around industrial or commercial projects is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage a range of stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Estate Master or CAD is advantageous.
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to build a long-term career in development.
