Woods & Co. Recruitment are partnering with a nationally recognised construction company to recruit an experienced Safety Manager.
This senior role will oversee WHS across multiple projects, ensuring safety is embedded at every level of the business. You’ll provide hands-on guidance to site teams, lead incident investigations, implement best-practice safety systems, and support continuous improvement across all operations. The role offers the chance to influence safety culture across education, government, health, heritage, and institutional projects making a tangible impact on both people and processes.

Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain WHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Oversee return-to-work programs and workers’ compensation.
- Deliver training and mentoring to teams.
Candidate Requirements - 5+ years’ WHS management experience, ideally in construction.
- Diploma or higher in WHS or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of current WHS legislation and best practice.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel between multiple sites.
