Senior Sales / BDM

Woods & Co have teamed up with a proudly Australian-owned business built on loyalty, honesty, and integrity. They have evolved from a local family operation into a global logistics partner, delivering seamless solutions across national transport, international freight forwarding, and 3PL warehousing.

They’re growing fast and are on the lookout for a true business builder to help them go even further. This isn’t your average sales gig. As a Senior Sales / Business Development Manager (BDM), you’ll be right at the front line, spotting opportunities, chasing leads, and building genuine partnerships that last.

You’ll work with a supportive team who back you all the way, while you take ownership of growing revenue and expanding company footprint across Australia and Globally. 

What's in it for you: 
  • $120,000 - $130,000 + Super + Commission + Company Car

What You’ll Do:
  • Hunting new business across transport, freight, and warehousing sectors
  • Identifying markets, clients, and opportunities that others might miss
  • Meeting with prospects, understanding their operations, and delivering tailored logistics solutions
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Preparing proposals, quotes, and sales contracts that deliver value for both sides
  • Keeping accurate records of your wins, pipeline, and progress
  • Collaborating with operations to make sure what’s promised gets delivered, on time, every time

What you need?
  • 2-3+ years of experience in sales or business development within the freight forwarding or logistics sector
  • Strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and freight forwarding operations
  • Experience using CargoWise is highly regarded
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce / HubSpot)  
  • Communication, negotiation and time management skills 
  • Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
