What do you do? - Lead, mentor and inspire the kitchen team to maintain a positive, high-performance culture.
- Oversee kitchen operations across the restaurant, wine bar, and events space.
- Work closely with the owner to align on vision and strategic direction.
- Introduce and uphold systems and processes that drive consistency and efficiency.
- Manage inventory, ordering, stock control and food costs.
- Be hands-on in service, ensuring every dish meets the venue’s high standards.
- Train and support junior chefs, encouraging skill development and accountability.
What do you need?
- Experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a busy, high-quality kitchen.
- Strong leadership capabilities and a genuine passion for mentoring others.
- Proven ability to implement and maintain operational systems and processes.
- A respect for tradition, with the confidence to bring fresh ideas and structure.
- A collaborative mindset and the flexibility to work across a varied and evolving offering.
