Structures Supervisor
Woods & Co are presently recruiting for an experienced
Structures Supervisor to join a highly regarded high-end residential and commercial builder on an impressive $50m luxury six story apartment development in Melbourne's South-East.
This a
4 week temporary assignment, ideal for a Structures Supervisor who is immediately available and can step into a project, take ownership and provide strong leadership across the structural work.
The OpportunityYou'll be joining a well established builder delivering some of Melbourne's most prestigious residential and commercial projects. This particular development is a high quality six story luxury apartment project, requiring a strong understanding of structural construction, sequencing, quality and subcontractor coordination.
Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the structural component of the project and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate structural construction works across the project
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site staff
- Ensure works are completed in line with plans, specifications and project programs
- Monitor quality, safety and site standards throughout construction
- Coordinate structural trades and manage day to day site activities
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep the project progressing
- Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and broader construction tean
- Maintain strong communication with subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders
About YouWe're looking for an experience Structures Supervisor with a strong background across commercial, apartments, or high end residential construction
You'll ideally have;
- Proven experience supervising structural construction works
- Experience working on multi story residential or commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of structural construction methodologies and sequencing
- The ability to confidently manage subcontractors and trades
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A strong focus on quality, safety and program
- The ability to hit the ground running in a temp role
- Relevant construction qualifications and site experience
