Woods & Co have partnered up with one of Melbourne's top residential contractors, the client has a strong pipeline of work for the rest of 2025 and is looking to add another Draftsperson to their expanding team.  

What do you need?

• 2-3 years of drafting experience 
• Must have experience in production drawings 
• Archicad experience
• Client liaison & great communication ability
• Great attitude
• Team player

What do you do?

• Complete set tasks as set by the General Manager and Drafting Manager
•  Ensure all internal time frames are met
•  Protection notice issues, design guidelines, small lot housing code and rescode
• Conduct documentation and checking of working drawings including engineering
• Check final drawings and final variation schedules
• Provide checking of own work prior to submitting to others for completion.
• Work in cooperation with sales estimating and customer service staff when required to assist in pre-site and production queries
• Work cooperatively and provide feedback to development where assistance is required, whilst maintaining standard bills of quantities and assemblies
•  Assist with other drafting duties as required
•  Assist with Master drawing/details library maintenance
• Scheduling Workload
•  Check contractor work
•  Ensuring contractors meet KPI deadlines
• Attend Sales, Ops and building meetings where required
